1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the Geo Attribution platform (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

These terms apply to all users of the service, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and contributors of content.

2. Service Description

Geo Attribution is a platform that measures how Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google Gemini, and Claude cite and reference websites. Our service provides:

• Citation tracking across multiple LLM providers
• Attribution analytics and reporting
• Competitor analysis tools
• Historical citation trend data
• API access for programmatic integration

The service is currently in beta and provided free of charge during this period.

3. User Accounts

When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for safeguarding the password and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must verify your email address before accessing scan functionality. You may not use another person's account without their express permission.

You must be at least 13 years old to use this service. Users under 18 must have parental consent.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
• To violate any international, federal, provincial, or state regulations, rules, laws, or local ordinances
• To infringe upon or violate our intellectual property rights or the intellectual property rights of others
• To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate, or discriminate
• To submit false or misleading information
• To upload or transmit viruses or any other type of malicious code
• To collect or track personal information of other users without their consent
• To spam, phish, pharm, pretext, spider, crawl, or scrape
• For any obscene or immoral purpose
• To interfere with or circumvent security features of the Service
• To exfiltrate or redistribute other users' scan data or results
• To abuse our API rate limits through automated requests exceeding fair use

We reserve the right to terminate your use of the Service for violating any of the prohibited uses.

5. Subscriptions & Billing

The Service offers multiple subscription tiers with different features and usage limits:

• Free Tier: Limited scans per month, basic analytics
• Pro Tier: Expanded scan allowance, advanced analytics, API access
• Enterprise Tier: Custom limits, priority support, white-label options

Billing is handled through Stripe. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as specifically stated in these terms.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial months.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' advance notice to existing subscribers.

6. Token Credits

Our service operates on a token-based system where each scan consumes credits based on the scope and depth of analysis:

• Monthly token allocations reset at the beginning of each billing cycle
• Unused tokens do not roll over to the next month
• Additional token top-ups may be purchased as needed
• Token consumption rates are displayed in your dashboard and documented in our API
• Enterprise customers may have custom token allocation agreements

Token consumption is final once a scan begins. Cancelled or failed scans may still consume tokens if LLM provider APIs were called.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Geo Attribution and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You retain ownership of any data you submit to the Service, including domain configurations and scan parameters. By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

Scan results and analytics generated by the Service are your property, subject to these terms. You may not redistribute or resell access to other users' scan data.

8. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information.

9. Disclaimers

The information on this Service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude:

• All representations, warranties, and conditions relating to our Service and the use of this Service
• All liability for damages arising out of or in connection with your use of this Service

LLM citation data may not be complete or accurate. Results depend on third-party API availability and may vary based on LLM model updates, training data changes, and query parameters.

We make no guarantees about scan result accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

10. Limitation of Liability

We will not be liable for any consequential, indirect, or special damages arising from or in connection with the use of our Service, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the liability.

This limitation applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Geo Attribution, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including attorney fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these terms
• Your violation of any third party rights, including intellectual property rights
• Any content or data you submit to the Service

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions that should survive termination will survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support or through your account settings.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email or through a prominent notice in the Service at least 30 days before the changes take effect.

What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
